Beyond the certificate

Competitive sports medical examination
The competitive examination is mandatory for anyone practicing sport within clubs affiliated with sports federations, organizations recognized by CONI, or organized sports clubs.
It is performed by sports medicine specialists and allows the certificate of fitness for the requested competitive sport to be issued. It is valid for one year.
Depending on the sport, the examination may include a medical history, measurement of weight, height, and blood pressure, auscultation, resting ECG, exercise ECG, spirometry, urinalysis, and vision testing.
Non-competitive sports medical examination
The non-competitive examination is suitable for people who take part in sport through gyms, sports clubs, organized amateur activities, or school programs.
The non-competitive sports medical examination is an in-depth assessment of fitness for sport. It is an important step when starting or continuing physical activity safely and with confidence.
It includes a clinical examination, medical history, measurement of key clinical parameters, and a resting ECG. When needed, the doctor may request further investigations or add functional tests.
Functional assessments and exercise tests
The examination can be combined with functional assessments and cardiorespiratory exercise tests to define fitness level, training thresholds, and the body's response to physical activity more precisely.
These data support genuinely personalized training and prevention programs.
